Why did you join LCC?
I knew I wanted to join LCC from the moment I first learned about it because I fell in love with everything it represented. I see it as a challenge to the stereotype that Asian Americans tend to pursue careers that are more stable than acting, typically due to the mindset of Asian parents (although they mean well) and our representation in Hollywood often being limited to stereotypical and invisible roles. I see LCC as a space that temporarily liberates us from these realities, where hopefully, as we exercise our passion for theatre, we can nurture future trailblazers in the Asian American community. And I wanted to be a part of that.
