lcc theatre company

John Jacob
Improv Director

Generation 24
Major: English
Why did you join LCC?
I joined LCC because I've always found writing and theatre to be avenues where I can be myself. This company gave me a home where I can write with purpose, and grow out of my shell with improv and acting. LCC started on the foundation of showcasing Asian-american talent, and continues to be the home for people seeking that community. Being Filipino, that message means a lot to me, and I'm so glad to be a part of that.

If you were to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Definitely (mom's) spaghetti.

Where are you the most ticklish?
My sides

Who would you be and what would you do, if you can be someone else for an hour?
I'd probably be Gene Block and try to play pick-up basketball in Wooden. Dunk on them. In honesty, I'd be Charlie Kaufman; it'd be cool to know how he thinks and just see what's in his mind -- his screenplays are amazing.

What movie would you like to be trapped in?
La La Land -- breaking into dance in LA traffic sounds more fun than dangerous

What would the autobiographical movie of your life be called and which celebrity will play you?
"The Fast Food Experiment Gone Wrong", or "Sleepy Boi" in select markets. Starring Fred Savage.
